DESCRIPTION:
This course covers the concepts of functioning under the incident command system.  The roles and responsibilities of each sector are learned.  The  marine officer learns how to better interact with outside sources of help.  The ships officer is taught skills to set up an ICS system aboard his vessel and to expand the system as actions and events warrant.  Accountability of personnel and resources, and improved communication are key concepts of this course.
