DESCRIPTION:
Following the NFPA Standard 1005 and recommendations of NFPA 1405, this course was developed especially for the professional fire fighter.  It is designed to orient the student to the maritime industry, covering such topics as ships organization and construction, in-depth strategy and tactics for various ship configurations, similarities and differences between ship and structural firefighting.  The student will also learn how to operate in a full scale ICS enviroment using a variety of outside resources from the public and private sectors.
