Our MCA Advanced Fire Fighting course is designed to provide mariners with the knowledge and skills needed to develop a realistic shipboard fire prevention program. Through the use of classroom lecture, tabletop exercises, and practical experience, the students will learn to effectively organize fire-fighting teams and respond to a fire aboard a ship. This course includes specific modules related to fire protection of yachts and cruise ships. The course meets the requirements of STCW-95 for advanced fire fighting and may be used specifically towards the issue of a United Kingdom Certificate of Competency.
This course will satisfy elements 7.1,7.2, and 7.3 of unit M7 of the Merchant Vessels.
You must have proof of STCW-95 Basic Firefighting & Minimum 6 months Sea-time letter.
